Why does Oobleck harden under pressure? Please explain in detail why this occurs

oobleck is a pressure dependent subject. Its a non-newtonian fluid. Once you apply a force on oobleck it hardens once rel;eased it softens.  it's the closest thing we have to manmade quicksand
