what possible difference would there have been in world affairs if the us had won a decisive victory in korea? explain please

If the US had won, then Korea would most likely not be split and that Korea would have a government similar to the US's. This would be because the US would implement a similar government as a term of surrender by the North Koreans. This can be backed up by what happened in Japan after World War Two. :)
