Divide -81 by 27. You get -3.

Divide 27 by -9. You get -3.

Divide -9 by 3. You get -3.

Every new term is the previous term multiplied by -3.

Multiply -81 by -3: -81 * (-3) = 243

Multiply 243 by -3: -3 * 243 = -729

Answer: 243, -729
